As pioneers in women’s rights since inception, YSL continues their imprint in the space, and expands their activism regarding domestic abuse (which can also happen to any gender) with an upcoming panel event that you can stream below, tomorrow 20th January at 6pm GMT.
November 2021 marked one year since the successful launch of the YSL Beauty Abuse is Not Love programme and the partnership in the UK with Women’s Aid, YSL Beauty together with Women’s Aid will be hosting a one-of-a-kind live panel event on YSL Beauty’s YouTube Chanel.
This event comes as one in three women (33%) experience Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in their lifetime. With one woman killed by her partner every 3 days in the US, UK & France.
Addressing this the “Abuse Is Not Love” event will feature a series of thought-provoking discussions between high-profile experts and survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, with the overall objective of raising awareness of the signs and delivering potentially life-changing help and guidance.
Hosted by Author and Journalist Sali Hughes and joined by Farah Nazeer (Women’s Aid CEO), Jane Monckton Smith (Professor & Author), Alice Liveing (Journalist & Ambassador), Phoenix Brown (Model & Spokesperson) along with YSL Beauty’s Global Brand Cause spokesperson Juleah Aiken.
