Multi-instrumentalist and British-Asian artist legend Bishi just released the second in her recent roll out of new singles. A few months ago, the visionary artist released Axis Mundi – a more soundscape focussed, totally exquisite and awesome sonic experience.
Today, Bishi released Language Is An Ocean with the poetic support of British-Asian writer Nikesh Shukla who is featured on the track delivering political activism through verse whilst Bishi serves flawless operatic vibe vocals giving a total 5th Element vibes with further dimensionality, luscious textures and totally badass production – a pulsating dance bass, hi hats that make you trip.
If that wasn’t enough, the track has a surreal sitar solo and is a though provoking, narrative-driven track that is pure art. What a legend.
The level of output and dimensionality that independent visionary artists create (stream more on HUMXN+ on Apple Music) is unreal. Independent is truly where real power, authentic talent and happiness lies for the future and present of the music industry.
