Explore: yue float

In my constant search for meditative self realisation and oneness, I came across yue float via my brother Oz, who worked with the conscious company to create some image assets (also below).

I spent the best part of two hours at yue float in Battersea, where I experienced ajna light therapy and an hour long float in a sensory deprivation chamber aka a yue float!

With ajna (third eye/pineal gland) light therapy, you lay down on a bed with a copper framed light box above you and a pyra light box on your chest. With your eyes shut and headphones on, the experience begins. Light is emitted at different frequencies and elevates your meditation experience, if you already have experience going inward, or gets you started if you’re just starting to explore the spiritual realm. Benefits include anxiety reduction, clear mind, consciousness and improvement in sleep. All of which I can confirm were a result of this either immediately or the next morning. I wish I had more time as would have loved to try the DMT experience for one hour, because I can see how an extended period of time spent with ajna light therapy would be fully transportive to the astral plane.

For the pod experience, the yue float is an iconic step into the future but replicating the ancient nourishing experience of floating in The Red Sea, which I can confirm is pretty accurate. The difference is the sensory deprivation, no light, no sound, just you and the universe, free of gravity. The room that the pod sits in is super well equipped with a shower, supplies to ensure your experience is as hygienic and free of salt burning your eyes as possible. A really refined experience that felt holistic but also futuristic.

It’s also worth noting that yue float is open til 11pm but there’s also the chance to book an overnight eight hour sleep session, so if you had a stressful day, there is nothing better than laying back and submerging yourself in some tranquility for the night. There’s also an infra red sauna that you can check out which is designed for rapid detoxing! Maybe it goes without saying, but the staff were kind, attentive and conscious too.
