Carine Roitfeld has undoubtedly been the global pioneer of noir chic within the fashion industry for the longest time, and what CR Fashion Book has evolved to certainly showcases that. Technogym – if you didn’t yet know, is the leading premium company in fitness and wellness, with its Italian design products in the world’s most prestigious hotels, wellness clubs and private homes. The aesthetic match is pretty much perfect, so to see CR and Technogym come together to create CR Fashion Book’s first calendar “CR Girls 2018 with TECHNOGYM” featuring a line up of Gigi Hadid, Grace Elizabeth, Joan Smalls, Hailey Clauson, Paris Jackson, Hoyeon Jung, Binx Walton, Eniko Mihalik, Hannah Ferguson, Joelle Lombardi, Danielle Herrington, goddess Halima Aden (pictured above) and Candice Swanepoel is pretty damn awesome.
To mark a fresh, new beginning for 2018 with diverse beauty in a photo calendar shot by Steven Klein (we last saw his sport inspired work for Equinox almost two years ago). Each calendar girl was chosen for their unique style, personality and iconic look. “Throughout my career, I have championed diversity of both race and body type. This casting includes both iconic supermodels and fresh faces in a modern representation of beauty and body. It’s about the multiplicity of woman in the year 2018,” said Roitfeld.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar benefit the Special Olympics, the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with disabilities. Roitfeld’s inspiration for the project and teaming up with the Special Olympics came from her personal trainer who is visually impaired. “I am in awe of any person who devotes their mind and body to athletics, but especially those with disabilities. This is the definition of courage. I am pleased the proceeds of this calendar support the Special Olympics—an organization I greatly respect—and to promote the visibility of its efforts,” said Roitfeld.
“TECHNOGYM has been official supplier for the last six Olympic Games; we believe in the social mission of sport, in its strength and ability to transform people’s life through the joy of practicing and exercising. Therefore, we are happy to partner with Special Olympics and sharing its mission and program to help people in need” said Alessandri.
CR Girls 2018 With TECHNOGYM” is now available for $200 on www.crfashionbook.com and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics.
