It’s kinda sad that we live in a world where controversy over who the hate in the song was directed at. I mean, it’s a typical product of the Tr*mp era and we’re all just going to be subject to negative dramatics for quite some years now. If any of you know what Sept 23 is set to be, it kinda makes sense why hurricanes and floods and get this, dead frogs are coming in like the verses from the Bible in reality. No matter how subjective it is, it’s no denying that many artists are losing out on the opportunity to cut through the noise, Tove Lo is one of these artists and that’s why I am sharing this.
For some context on what you’re missing out on, read my friend Bradley Stern aka MuuMuse’s piece here, but from a visual experience and sonic narrative stand point, Tove Lo’s artistry is literally so naturally emotionally played out it’s like duality docu art that really resonates and makes you want to share and re-experience.
‘Fire Fade’ just came out but if you haven’t seen ‘Fair Dust’ the first part released was released last year and is also viewable below, so I’d watch it in that order…
