Every so often there is one of those magazine covers that no matter who the subject is, you wish that you had been part of the creative process. Here’s the latest. James Franco by Josh Olins and Robbie Spencer for the December issue of Dazed & Confused. The issue is titled Visionaries and showcases a selection of 50 super high profile multi-platform creatives including Björk, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Kim Jones, Bart Hess, Megaforce, Austin Lynch, Tabor Robak, Nic Hamilton Maja Borg, Béla Tarr, Kenneth Anger and Jonas Akerlund each taking over Dazed Digital’s video section for a week at a time, premiering their own original work alongside newly commissioned films from their favourite artists. Granted there are tonnes of other creatives that could have been featured, but everything has limits.
The shirt featured on the cover is Prada, the silk tunic from within the editorial is Gucci.
