Showcasing the second part of the Samson & Delilah story comes the video for VV Brown’s The Apple. Subject to HUGE levels of critical acclaim this week from The Guardian, Popjustice and more, the decision to go solo and launch YOY was clearly the best thing that VV could have done – paving the way for other artists that feel like they are trapped within a major label. The video is a continuation of Samson, where the now aged protagonist takes to the woods meeting a Geisha played by VV herself (looking beyond perfect). The Apple is out on 25 August on VV’s own label YOY Records. Her UK tour kicks off at London’s Electrowerkz on 17 October.
