Juergen Teller just unveiled his ‘Curated Shelf’ and a display of selected works at the Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison, which will run alongside his exhibition at the ICA.
Titles on the ‘Curated Shelf’ include ‘Atlas’ by Gerhard Richter, ‘Tea, Coffee, Cappucino’ by Boris Mikhailov, ‘Dictionary of Water’ by Roni Horn and ‘The Democratic Forest’ by William Eccleston. The curated exhibition is located in the Maison’s Apartment and features some of Jurgen’s work including images of one of his muses Kristen McMenamy.
The man is a genius and certainly a KARLISMYUNKLE favourite, so it was a pleasure to meet him tonight where he discussed his literary choices.
Previous Curated Shelves have featured Marc Quinn, Haim Steinbach, John Stezaker, Tracey Emin, Conrad Shawcross, Cindy Sherman, Grayson Perry, Yayoi Kusama, Michael Petry, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Paula Rego, Peter Blake, Elmgreen & Dragset, and Edward Barber amongst others.
