The media roll out for the long awaited Garbage comeback has finally commenced. The track Blood For Poppies was released as a free download last month and now it has an accompanying video. The retro black and white clip is directed by the brilliant fashion photographer Matt Irwin and shot in Los Angeles. The video is inspired by surrealist artists, film makers and photographers including Rene Magritte, Maya Deren and Francesca Woodman and features a recreation of the eyeball slitting scene from Luis Bunuel’s 1929 film Un Chien Andalou. It is so good to see the band back on form.
