]]> I could literally not be more obsessed with this artist. Every piece of content (whether video or audio) that MØ has put out, has been completely perfect both visually and sonically. Here is the video for her Diplo collaboration track ‘XXX 88‘ that we listened to last week.

The track itself features some of Diplo’s best ska-infused production, which has a much more cinematic appeal than his previous work. Karen Marie Ørsted’s performance in the video with her no fucks to give attitude transcends her far above any thirsty pop star of 2013. It’s this attitude and appearance that is going to win her the most dedicated fanbase of rebels.

XXX 88 drops on October 20th and forms part of MØ EP. Her next London gig is on Tuesday 5 November at XOYO.

]]> My adoration of Danish electro-pop artist MØ (Karen Marie Ørsted) is relentless. I heard that this might have potentially been in the works a couple of months back, but to hear her collaboration with super producer Diplo “XXX 88” come to life is pretty unreal. The signature trumpets combined with hypnotic production has lent itself to an almost 80s French ska feel fused with some beyond phenomenal drums.
