]]> Directed by Francesco Carrozzini (Mykki Blanco’s Wavvy and son of Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani) comes the video for Banks’ Waiting Game. It almost surprises me that they let her lip sync to her own vocals towards the end of the film, but I completely understand the need to equitise the brand considering Banks’ aversion to social media. The clip itself is beautiful (unsurprisingly so, I mean it’s Francesco’s work) and enigmatic drawing out the depth of the song.

Banks’ London EP drops on September 10.

]]> The vocals and production on Waiting Game by Banks are completely mind-blowing. The LA-based artist collaborated with London producer SOHN. Waiting Game serves as a follow up to ‘Before I Ever Met You‘ and ‘Fall Over‘ and it is the lead track from the forthcoming EP – completely aurally hypnotising. I am all for BANKS distancing herself from social media if it means that the product remains this flawless.
