Setting the vibe with a unrelenting Black Metal frequency reminiscent of some of the greatest screamo bands in history, we are already hypnotized with Vakaren‘s latest track, The Personification Of Time & Dust.

Delivering emotive and immersive vocals, The Personification Of Time & Dust is the first single to be released from Vakaren’s upcoming album.

The track goes on to dive into an inquisition on a pessimistic approach to existence and reincarnation as the band takes us on a cerebral and philosophical journey.

The atmosphere is moody and dark, as are the visuals for the composition, to match the fatalistic nature of the track from the rising Swedish Black Metal project, started in late 2016 by musicians from the neighbouring towns around Stockholm.

Speaking on their artistry, Vakaren say, “The music created by the band revolves heavily around the idea of creating an atmosphere that envelopes the listener.”
