This shoot forms part of the promo for the album Born This Way, set to drop on 23 May. In addition, it has been announced by my good friend Emma Barnett at the Daily Telegraph that Gaga is cashing in on the huge popularity of Facebook game Farmville, with the creation of ‘Gagaville’ for a limited period. The game extension allows Farmville players to buy Lady Gaga virtual items which will stay live after ‘Gagaville’ disappears, such as crystals. This is a pretty groundbreaking move, as countless brands have tried to leverage content via Farmville, but this is their first big pop collaboration.
