We previously featured Exzenya for her philosophical depth and cerebral notions on the electrifying single, Scansion, as well as the soulful, psychology-infused anthem of desire, Regulator of My Dopamine, so when we heard that the talented artist was back with V.I.P., we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.

Establishing the mood with a highly cerebral nature, tapping into a riot girl sound with ferocious ad libs, Exzenya opens V.I.P. with an assertive energy and an evocative flow. The soundscape is dimensional with a hip-hop adjacency, pulsating drums and bold piano chords.

Instead of luxury and nightlife, V.I.P. stands for Victim’s Impact Panel – a mandatory program for DUI offenders, which turns a sobering real-life consequence into a raw, satirical hip-hop anthem.

With sharp, witty lyricism, Exzenya delivers storytelling that’s funny, defiant, and thought-provoking. She confronts uncomfortable realities with her intelligent wordplay and cerebral mindset, weaving humor into the darker sides of adult life, all while keeping us in a trance.

Fans of Eminem, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lil Dicky might appreciate Exzenya‘s fearless approach to satire and storytelling, but there is no doubt that with V.I.P., Exzenya is manifesting a universe of her own. It is a bold statement – gritty, clever, and unapologetically original.
