This week saw the launch of TURNING – a documentary and concert on DVD and CD by Antony and the Johnsons and Charles Atlas.

The TURNING process started in 2011 and 2012 when Antony Hegarty and Charles Atlas screened the film at theatres around the world which documented Antony and the Johnsons’ fall 2006 European tour, which featured the band performing alongside 13 women. The DVD and digital release features the full Antony and the Johnsons’ November 2006 live set at the Barbican in London. The Turning audio also features “Whose Are These” and “Tears Tears Tears”, two studio recordings originally released on a picture disc in 2006.

A special screening of TURNING will take place on November 21st at 7pm at Charles Atlas’ Luhring Augustine gallery in Brooklyn.
