Over the last couple of days, countless scenes from Britney’s Femme Fatale tour have leaked all over the internet. The most anticipated (for me anyway) was the Nicki verse in Till The World Ends, which was used as a backdrop when she wasn’t supporting Britney on the non-US parts of the tour. Here it is, thanks to Nicki Daily. I literally cannot wait for someone to remix the video and intersperse it with this and parts of Ke$ha’s We R Who We Are. Absolutely major. The clip was directed by Cristobal Valecillos.

The track itself may have leaked two days ago, but it has officially been “released” today, although it is STILL not on iTunes, which is frankly ridiculous. I could dedicate a whole post to how labels are damaging the sales by slow uptake. The track definitely deserves to hit number one – even Britney skeptics are loving the track. Here is the single cover (and track below) with the three pop princesses looking – well – amazing.

So last week I wrote a speculation post on how Nicki Minaj will be collaborating with Britney. This has now become official and the news got a whole lot better, as Ke$ha (who actually wrote the track) is in on the remix. It will be for Till The World Ends, and by the sound of things, it will officially blow S&M and Telephone out of the water.

The track will drop in two days (and sixteen hours from the moment this post goes live) and there are official countdowns on britney.com, keshaparty.com and pinkfriday.com. Nothing like a bit of collaborative digital marketing to make Unkle Karl’s nephew happy.

UPDATE: The track has leaked, like every other track that was due for release this year. This sh*t needs to be kept under lock and key a whole lot better. Sony, Interscope, Columbia – sort it out! The track is AMAZING. Nicki kills it. Lyrically off the hook.

As promised yesterday via a 30 second preview, here is the apocalyptic/2012-inspired video for Britney Spears’ second single from Femme Fatale – Till The World Ends – directed by Ray Kay. This video is going back to basics (a la Slave), and is going to make Britney fans and critics very happy. It is good to see her smiling, natural and enjoying herself – you just need to have a read of the comments on VEVO/YouTube to see the immediate and highly positive feedback. Views/hits for this clip are going to be huge.

music video preview: britney spears – till the world ends

Aside from the fact that every time I write the title to this song, I feel the urge to spell the word ’til correctly, it doesn’t stop me from absolutely loving it. You guys will have seen behind the scenes footage from the video directed by Ray Kay if you watched the MTV documentary ‘I am the Femme Fatale”, which aired on Sunday night. If you haven’t – watch it here.

For the video for Britney and her team are responding (rather cleverly) to the “she still doesn’t dance” criticism by releasing two versions of the video – a raw and purely choreography focused edit (for the fans) and the director’s cut/full version.

Here is the preview that was just released – think Slave 4 U meets Boys, but made for 2011. Britney looks amazing, the choreography appears to be strong and the simplistic cinematography and plot of the clip is exactly what was needed for this video.

Watch the video under the cut. It is set to be released fully tomorrow, April 6th.
