]]> Tonight it was another (I know, iconic times) blood moon, even though in London we couldn’t see anything, it was a beautifully fitting mood for the release of an album by one of the most incredible humans I have had the honour of knowing. The album Star by AH MER AH SU a.k.a. Star Amerasu, who is a literal goddess and poet and all round literal artist of our time, came out today. You can stream it on all platforms and from a visual perspective, the very friends that introduced me to star, Scarlett Stack and director Roger Stack created this video for the song Perfect which sees Star take on the role of the ultimate earth mom / chef / hoe / legend / hairography icon and everything else that makes the vision of a visionary.

The album is a sonic portrait or realisation and acceptance of self, which ties together Star’s world in the most intricate and realest of ways… and the production is a trip. I am so honoured to know you, Star. Your favourite stan.
