In essence, Santa Goes to Space tells a fun story about Santa finishing his Christmas deliveries early. He then decides to take Rudolph and the reindeer on an adventure into space. They fly higher, in turn, transforming Santa’s sleigh into a kind of space traveler among the stars. It’s cosmic escapism at its finest, and actually rather a genius metaphor for how many of us feel with society right now.

As Santa explores space, people on Earth notice something unusual. Even space command in Washington thinks that they’ve spotted a UFO. However, the mysterious visitor is just Santa spreading joy, showing that Christmas magic can reach far beyond Earth.

The song imagines Christmas celebrations across the whole solar system. Planets like Neptune, Mars, and Jupiter enjoy holiday music, cards and decorations just like we do. The message is simple: Christmas belongs to everyone, everywhere, across the entire universe. This message of oneness and inclusivity is very zeitgeist and invites a collective energy of love to manifest at a time when we need it the most. Sonically, Santa Goes to Space holds a timeless cinematic energy – it’s a movie in its own right really, but also perfect for a Hollywood sync deal if there ever was a film with the same narrative!
