]]> Tonight saw the launch of Erebus – a new short film and accompanying exhibition by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones in collaboration with choreographic director Russell Maliphant. In essence it is an adaptation of The Rodin Project – a full-length work of contemporary dance by Maliphant, inspired by the work of Auguste Rodin.

The name stems from the primordial deity, representing the personification of darkness – which is brought to life in an unequivocally beautiful manner through the thirteen minute film. The score by James Lavelle is the perfect accompaniment.

The film itself has existed online for some time now, however the exhibition itself just went live at 28 Redchurch Street and is open from today until 20th October from 11am – 6pm.
