Atmospheric vocals sing the assertive lyrics, “Don’t tell me that you’re sorry, don’t tell me that you’ll change…”, as the opus expands into a luscious dream-pop meets EDM-hybrid soundscape.

Speaking on the the release of Favorite Mistake, The Domain confesses, “This song was too happy and too danceable for 2021, I didn’t want to drop it while everyone was suffering. I want everyone to be happy and partying when they hear this.”

There is no doubt that Favorite Mistake is an immersive and mood inspiring opus, designed to empower movement, and features guest vocals from New York singer Lousy.

Blurring the lines between dance and pop, The Domain is a multi talented electronic music producer, DJ, remixer with tracks that are filled with soul, vibe, pop vocals and vintage synthesizers.

We learn that he has a wide range of influences that span from synthwave and deep house to pop and electronica, but it is clear that The Domain is creating a universe of his own with vintage synthesizers, dreamy vocals and a unique dance soundscape.

The Domain also tells us, “I’ve been vegan for 15 years, I love taking mushrooms, and consciousness is pretty much my favorite thing to talk about…”, which we feel come through in the intricacy and dimensionality of his artistry as a conscious being on planet Earth.
