From a marketing standpoint, this is a really creative, innovative and pioneering way for a brand to support talent, signed or unsigned (in this case). Brand endorsement is the way forward for the music industry and without overt product placement, collaboration videos that are beautiful shot (like this) work perfectly. Another example was the recent Prabal Gurung fashion music video with Rye Rye.
