Do It Again – the mini collab concept album from Röyksopp & Robyn is now streaming on NPR. Hi, this is amazing. In additional mini collab concept album news, the video for the track Sayit has also arrived and it is all kinds of glitch pop perfect. It just premiered on H&M Life (although as it was styled by Ellen Af Geijerstam I doubt any actual H&M was used, whatever).

The video is directed by Sandberg & Timonen, Kacper Kasprzyk with Edit & Glitch by Johan Söderberg, Miguel Angel Regalado. Now go buy the album, bye.

Stream: London Grammar – Nightcall

By far one of the finest breakthrough acts of 2013. London Grammar this week unveiled their cover of Nightcall (originally by Kavinsky as made famous on the Drive soundtrack in 2011). The track acts as their lead from their ‘Nightcall EP’ due for release on December 8. Hannah Reid vocally takes this track far and above purely being just another cover.

first listen: lady gaga – edge of glory

Edge of Glory has landed – and it is quite rock! At first listen, I am keen – although it does sound a bit like a anthemic Pink song! You can totally feel the emotion and depth behind it. Better than Born This Way? Yes. Will it chart better than Judas? Probably. Will I be playing it in my Jeep with the roof off this summer? Hell yes! Will Gaga totally kill this performed live? Without a shadow of doubt.

Gaga is marketing the album in a similar way to how Kanye did for My Dark Twisted Fantasy (except not for free), by releasing a new track from the album every week from this point forth until the album drops on May 23rd in full. All tracks downloaded will contribute to final album sales. A rather novel and groundbreaking industry move.
