Setting the frequency with enigmatic piano, Silvia De Rosa opens her debut single, Our Goodbye with the introspective lyrics, “When I saw your eyes, I feel sadness and pain, but you said I’m your girl, bring you happiness…”

The release of Our Goodbye is also accompanied by a music video which sees the protagonist from Hanoi in Vietnam, take a seat in an almost theatrical set with her tarot cards and candles.

Speaking on the source of her creativity, Silvia says, “My influences are my feelings and thoughts on what i have to go through life.” She cites Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Aurora as some of her sonic influences.

The textured vocals are elegant and backing vocals are performed by Beek, whilst Minh Dinh arranged, mixed and mastered the track.

The artist’s intention is to put a “voice to your sadness” but we also love the optimistic lyrics “I have high hope and I believe in you and me”.

Silvia De Rosa delivers a great performances in the video, it is emotive and mesmerizing. We like the direction that the artist is going in and have added Our Goodbye to our New Music Spotlight playlist.
