<p>With bright and engaging downward chord progressions, we were immediately hooked by Kent and Surrey-based <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://open.spotify.com/track/38Uj9bJa4OjJwddLsSS5iA?si=ea4099b340624398" target="_blank"><strong>Colder Suns</strong></a>&#8216; new single, <strong>Seeds</strong>. With a melancholic vibe, almost reminiscent of nu-metal, Seeds is a journey of refined instrumentation combined with narrative driven and visual lyricism. </p>

<p>Seeds marks the bands third single since 2021, following up the epic I.A.N. and Chemicals, which you can also stream below. </p>

<p>Speaking on the track, the band says that &#8220;the song is about how even the smallest of erroneous misunderstandings can blow up into something huge and corrupt one&#8217;s thinking until it becomes all consuming.&#8221;</p>

<p>The track is rich in guitar artistry and we particularly love the pace change for the middle-8 which allows the narrative to come through with the lyricism and poetic vocal delivery. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1020" height="680" src="https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02.jpg?resize=1020%2C680&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-22505" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02-scaled.jpg?resize=1020%2C680&amp;ssl=1 1020w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02-scaled.jpg?resize=632%2C421&amp;ssl=1 632w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02-scaled.jpg?resize=1536%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Colder_Suns-Seeds-Portrait02-scaled.jpg?resize=2048%2C1365&amp;ssl=1 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p>Seeds features Ben Martin on vocals and guitars, Paul Hayes on guitars, Redd Reddington on drums, and Charlie Hayes on bass. The band organically formed over the course of 15-years, and the refinement of the product is really testament to that. </p>

<p>When asked about their influences, Colder Suns cites Foo Fighters, Guns &amp; Roses, Velvet Revolver, The Cult and Stereophonics. Colder Suns recorded Seeds at The Brook Studios in London with Andy Brook &#8211; the legendary music producer who has worked with the likes of Ginger Wildheart, Uriah Heap, Bonnie Tyler and more.</p>

<p>Speaking on the evolution of Seeds, band member and guitarist, Paul Hayes said, &#8220;<em>I really love it when you go into the studio with a strong idea in your mind of how a track will turn out, only to see it changing and augmenting in-front of you, it&#8217;s a very cathartic process. I think the end result is something we are really proud of.</em>&#8220;</p>
