]]> Following his recent re-brand and the teasing for his debut as Aiden, today marks the official release of the four-track Aiden EP and the unveil of the video for the lead track Satisfy Me featuring Thaddaeus. The clip was created by London based art collective, Crown and features Aiden taking on a much darker guise in line with the music. It’s really refreshing to see an artist who gained mainstream public attention through a singing reality show take control of the reins and give up half a million Twitter follower to completely re-brand and follow their creative vision.

]]> The struggle for male solo artists has never been so intense with the charts literally dominated by pop princesses, so it is understandable that Aiden Grimshaw has rebranded and discarded his surname and created a sonic and visual identity that surpasses his male peers with the legitimate potential to challenge dark pop female artists such as Lorde and MØ.
