In terms of numbers (and you can read this in depth with an interview over on Billboard), since the release of his first (full) free album 8-Bit Heart, Simon Curtis has had over 400,000 YouTube views, has aggregated a “Robot Army” of 20,000+ Twitter followers and more than a million plays on last.fm – not forgetting a good handful of dedicated fan sites.
