We last featured Rich Chambers for his reflective and vibrant single, I Wonder, so we were ecstatic to hear that the rising artist from Vancouver had also released his first song of 2022, I Saw Her Standing There.

Setting the tone with iconic rock’n’roll drums and exquisite guitar- work, we are already hypnotized by the Canadian artist’s cover of the classic song by The Beatles.

Speaking on the cover and his choice for releasing it, Rich says with passion and vigour, “With this song I am paying homage to a band that was a huge reason why I picked up the guitar in my early teens. It was one of the first songs I ever played in a band, and I absolutely loved it.”

The visionary artist continues, “I have always considered it to be one of the best straight-ahead classic early rock’n’ roll songs ever written, and all these years later, I still love playing it as much now as I did then. It never gets old! I guess you could say this song keeps me young, and what’s not to like about that?”

The song is accompanied by a stunning music video featuring an epic performance from Rich which was also awarded Best Cover Song Video at the recent Euro Music Video Awards! The video starts off in black and white and burst into colour for the guitar solo. We love the dimensionality of the visual!

The cover is energetic and full of passion, we can really tell how much Rich loves and connects with the composition, whilst he brings his own distinct sound to the track, whilst conveying the message and sentiment of the original!
