We previously featured PsiloMine Sun as he tapped into a high emotional quotient for his expansive and cathartic debut single, Fall Back, so when we heard that the talented creator was back with Fables, we were curious and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.

Drawing us in with a cerebral and spiritual energy with boundless drums and a psychedelic edge, PsiloMine Sun lives up to his name with the opening of Fables. Creating a cohesive tapestry with atmospheric vocals and astral, glistening guitar nuances, the opus expands with drama and intrigue.

The rising star describes his art as “music for psychedelic integration and beyond”, which definitely transpires with his evocative and universally expansive sound. PsiloMine Sun is the enigmatic new project from an elusive, yet seasoned, Chicago producer and musician with roots stretching back to the 90s, and we learn that Fables is taken from his forthcoming album, Instrumentality. Shrouded in mystery, the talented creator is joined by two other musicians for the project who also opt to keep their birth names under wraps, focusing the spotlight solely on their musical output.

Speaking on the message of his artistry, PsiloMine Sun confesses,  “Music has always been a refuge for me, and I aim to offer the same comfort to others through this project.” 

There is a cathartic and healing element to Fall Back, and we learn that PsiloMine Sun‘s creative process was profoundly influenced by the artist’s mother, who succumbed to a terminal illness earlier this year. The emotional upheaval and deep grief experienced during this time significantly shaped the project’s direction and purpose. “Through PsiloMine Sun, I hope to provide solace for those navigating the challenging terrains of grief, depression, and anxiety,” the enigmatic artist explains.

PsiloMine Sun is a new endeavor by a seasoned producer and musician from Chicago’s vibrant music scene, active since the 1990s. For this project, the artist chooses to keep his real name confidential, distinguishing it from his previous works.
