We immediately connect with the cohesive tapestry of sound and the sublime build of the track into a dimensional chorus with a dedicated and supportive message. There is no doubt that Promise to Love You would fit perfectly into a psychedelic TV show like Nine Perfect Strangers, an episode of Merteuil (The Seduction), or a Luca Guadagnino film.

The dark-wave trippy notions manifest with a hypnotic energy. We love the percussion textures, and the raw emotion demonstrated. Insane Blue cites The National and Radiohead as sonic influences for the track, which we can feel manifest, especially with the orchestral evolution of the track. We could also imagine that fans of ANOHNI, MGMT, Sufjan Stevens, and Rufus Wainwright would be able to connect with Promise to Love You.
