Pale Cousin is also known as Tel Boosey, a multi-instrumentalist creator who plays saxophone, guitars, bass, piano, drums and midi instruments to bring his cohesive artistic vision to life.

The six minute, six second opus features the saxophone and piano as the protagonists of the song, and Pale Cousin cites John Coltrane, Captain Beefheart and Pink Floyd as some of his influences.

Speaking on the meaning of the track, the artist from Ireland says, “The Other Side inspired by sadness from forced separation due to lockdown”, the artist uses the medium of sound as therapy for “lockdown induced depression”, and we are grateful to be on this journey with him to help expand healing.

When discussing genre, Pale Cousin says, “I don’t adhere to any specific genre… I colour outside of the lines!”, which we love.

The Other Side also comes with an epic visual that takes us on a cinematic and psychedelic journey through time and space.
