The rising artist from Monterey, who understands numerology, spent 1,800 seconds producing Break Away, 10,800 seconds mixing the song and spent 1,200 seconds mastering the song, which is 13,800 seconds in total.

Break Away expands into a genre-fusing experience which features elements of trap, electronica and R&B whilst telling the story of trying to escape a toxic circumstance.

Pablo sings emotively, “I wish that I could find the strength, inside, to take my things and walk away…” and when discussing the track, says “You know that feeling when you get when you just want out. You just want out from relationships, karma, debt, low energy, life, oneself, you name it. The dreaded anxious feeling of loving someone but not wanting to engage because you do not want to fall into an uncertain relationship with yourself. Sometimes, you just need to Break Away and take your things and walk away. It’s good for your soul and your mind.”

The wisdom and inspiring energy from Break Away is tangible and Pablo always likes to quote the great Frederick Douglass, “Without struggle, there is no progress”.

Pablo’s influence stems from a variety of genres and artists that mix a balance of bright sounds and dark sounds. When discussing Pablo’s influences, he cites Bee Gees, Metallica, Nirvana, H.E.R., Childish Gambino, Gorillaz, Ed Sheehan, JID, J.
