After Beyonce performed SURFBOARDT, the 56th annual Grammy awards were kinda rendered irrelevant (aside from Lorde’s acceptance speech) until the ‘Dream’ trailer (below) from Disney’s Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie aired. Oh yeah, and it features a cover of Once Upon A Dream by this little known indie artist called Lana Del Rey.

Ok back to reality. Three days ago it was officially announced that Lana would be covering the Disney classic and anticipation/expectations was/were high. She obviously delivered – as if there was even any question. It’s haunting, brilliant, staying true to the original and to Lana. Like, you couldn’t even have imagined it to be any more flawless.
