<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Establishing the mood with an intricate piano performance,<strong> Dariusz Hasiak</strong> opens <strong><em>October Twilight </em></strong>with a high emotional quotient and cinematic allure. The opus expands with warmth and a meditative aura, as we are taken on a journey that feels introspective with a touch of melancholia. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is a timelessness that manifests, with rippling arpeggios, intertwined with cosmic melodic lines. We could imagine <strong><em>October Twilight </em></strong>being featured in a <strong>Luca Guadagnino</strong> or <strong>Pedro Almodóvar </strong>film. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The composition is elegant, and feels deliberately unhurried. Instead of chasing a dramatic climax, <strong>Dariusz Hasiak</strong> allows the melody to gradually reveal itself with a zen-like presence. We learn that it is designed to mirror the way memories surface in fragments. The pauses speak volumes and create a spacious, luxurious quality to the piece. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There is also a distinctly autumnal character to the composition, aligned with the title of the track. This perfectly evokes the sentiment of moving between warmth and winter. Hasiak&#8217;s philosophy-driven approach to composition is evident.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1020" height="1410" data-id="58683" src="https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-18-at-17.03.53-1.png?resize=1020%2C1410&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-58683" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-18-at-17.03.53-1.png?resize=1020%2C1410&amp;ssl=1 1020w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-18-at-17.03.53-1.png?resize=632%2C874&amp;ssl=1 632w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-18-at-17.03.53-1.png?resize=768%2C1061&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/karlismyunkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-18-at-17.03.53-1.png?w=1030&amp;ssl=1 1030w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Living between Belgium, Germany and Poland, whilst studying philosophy, mathematics, history and music across Europe, he treats music and thought as deeply connected. His minimalist piano language intentionally draws on New Polish Romanticism and the sensibility of French chanson, particularly <em>Les Feuilles Mortes</em>. That influence can be felt in the track&#8217;s sense of longing and transience.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is abundantly clear that <strong>Dariusz Hasiak</strong> prioritizes emotional architecture. The melody develops slowly but with purpose, and it feels as though we are remembering something we didn&#8217;t know we had forgotten.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Remarkably, the track organically surpassed <strong>20,000 Spotify streams in its first two weeks without social media support</strong>, while also reaching #7 on SoundCloud&#8217;s global RepostExchange charts.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Needless to say, we are in awe, and have added <strong><em>October Twilight </em></strong>to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and our TIMELESS playlist, whilst we continue to stream the wider discography of <strong>Dariusz Hasiak</strong>, including <strong><em>Comfort in the Unseen. </em></strong></p>
