Recorded in his home studio in Cambridge, Wisconsin, Kent blends old and new techniques to craft his luscious. layered soundscape. The use of analogue tape manifests warmth and texture, whilst digital polish adds clarity. This combination creates a sense of nostalgia and futurism which is a fitting reflection of the song’s duality.

Owens, who also performs under the name QuardemO, continues his impressive streak of monthly self-produced releases. He handles everything from writing to mastering, and proves his skill as both an artist and craftsman.
