Setting the tone with an immersive new wave meets alternative rock frequency, we are already hypnotized by Morning Trips‘ new release, Where Is Your Out?

Opening with the vulnerable lyrics, “I don’t wanna cry, I don’t wanna cry no more…”, Where Is Your Out? expands with a luscious soundscape, enigmatic harmonies and catchy hooks to deliver a cerebral and existential commentary on the human condition.

Morning Trips are a high energy and genre expansive four-piece from Florida and to prove this, the final segment of the song transforms into a hybrid of drum and bass and hyperpop, and we are OBSESSED.

“We have a lot of exciting concepts and visuals planned for what will be our first formal EPs,” the band explains. “We are a guitar band at heart, but in our minds, we’re redefining what it means to make guitar-driven music in 2022 when the modern world is so hyper and phonetical.”

“We feel we are making music that really puts a stamp on the times, and that sounds like what we think of when we hear THE 2020s”, they conclude.
