Published May 5, 2011Fashion and car collaborations have always worked quite nicely – from Mercedes Benz’s sponsorship of various Fashion Weeks around the world to the 7-Series BMW that Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani designed for charity in 2009. This time MINI and DSQUARED2 have teamed up for The Life Ball is an annual charity event, started in 1993, that focuses on those affected by HIV/Aids.
Last year, the Life Ball’s MINI was designed by Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa and was auctioned off for $61,000. This year uber-talented designer duo Dean and Dan Caten have designed a MINI Cooper S to be auctioned off, that will make its debut in Vienna on May 21st, 2011. Check out the concept art below.
