Happy Friday kids. South London (yes, fam) newcomer MEI just dropped a really vocally clean and emotionally provoking debut with Sandstorm. It’s a really transportive track laced with the lyrics “where do we go” with sonic notes set against the pyramids of Giza almost. The Count Counsellor produced track sees the progressive and experimental MEI’s desert epilogue set the tone for hopefully more to come.

Written on her return from Coachella, Lana’s Coachella – Woodstock In My Mind is a woke narrative-driven that we can all relate to from not being able to enjoy the finer things in life because of the current state of world affairs.

Finally, here’s Human by Eckoes which premiered on Wonderland Magazine last week. The track is centred around the Dr Maya Angelou poem “I Am Human” with intricate production and emotion with a really timeless pop sensibility.
