The opus expands into clarity for a second verse as Mark Walsh shares his soul and captivating timbre with us. We love the celestial imagery that the star conjures with a vibrant commercial sound that feels extremely synch deal friendly.

His imagination is unrivalled and just as stars like Katy Perry are travelling around space, the lyrics feel more zeitgeist than ever. It is clear that Mark has a passion for the universe, and this transmutes in his message of love for his muse.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the release, Mark confesses, “[SATURN is] a space-themed love song inspired by a moment that hit me after watching Interstellar and seeing the full moon on my way to work. The song blends emotional lyrics, real NASA radio wave samples from Earth and Saturn, and a melody that feels both cinematic and personal.”

The use of radio wave samples, makes the opus even more authentic, and we really dig the innovative nature in the production which feels holistically connected to the cosmos. Mark continues with reference to his muse, “I wrote it for someone who grounds me when I need it most, and one of the key lines was actually inspired by her moonwalking dance.”

We learn that this moment inspired the hook, “moonwalking the rings on Saturn, but if I don’t got
you it don’t matter”, he confesses how “even a journey 900 million miles away to the rings of Saturn wouldn’t be worth missing those kinds of moments.”
