Signing Miley for the SS14 campaign was a bold and genius move, having Kendall Kadashian walk for the brand at NYFW was literally beyond brilliant and now comes the announcement and unveil of American Horror Story icon and film veteran Jessica Lange as the face of the new Marc Jacobs beauty campaign. IPO is was clearly a good move.

Lange’s involvement was teased this month as she provided the dark spoken-word soundtrack at Marc Jacobs’s AW14 show. Here is the first campaign image of the 64-year-old actress shot by David Sims.

Marc has dedicated Spring Summer ’14 to the women who inspire him. The campaign features Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell, photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Karl Templer. It’s dark, minimalist and simplistic but yet speaks volumes where Marc’s vision and identity cuts through in every single image.

In summary, perfect.

Once again the Ready-To-Wear Spring Summer ’14 collection by Kim Jones, Men’s Style Director under the Artistic Direction of Marc Jacobs will be a heavily interactive experience where you can share comments via Twitter with the hashtag #LVLive and mentioning the official Louis Vuitton Twitter Handle @LouisVuitton. Curated tweets will be featured on the social room wall, found just below the live video player.

This year the partnership between myself and Louis Vuitton is on a bigger scale, with an added element to showcase The Art of Packing, which can be previewed here and will be revealed officially in the next ten days.
