Long time video director for numerous luxury houses including Jeremy Scott and Tommy Hilfiger, Luca Finotti has unveiled his latest project in collaboration with Versace.

“Virtual Versace” is a campaign for Versace Sunglasses and Watches 2017 where the Italian director who Forbes named “The Film Director’s behind the fashion viral videos” takes us on a eight-way tumblr trip reminiscent of Warhol meets classic Versace iconography.

To create the trip, Finotti worked with eight international artists who created the visuals under the mentoring/guidance and approval of Finotti – Studio Wot, Linus Zoll (pictured), Sam&Andy Rolfes, Randy Cano, Darin Vartanian, Jose Gallardo, Michele Lamanna and Stephanie Cholakyan.

One of my favourite breakthrough directors, Luca Finotti has just released “VOLCANO”, the last short film project for HERCULES UNIVERSAL. The video was shooted in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, starring Caspar Oeschler. Dubbed as “a study of classical mediterranean beauty based on mythology: the man that became a rock / the rock that became a man”, the story is an epic yet modern journey of a man that raises from the waters and discovers fire, only to fall in love and decide not to return to water and to be transformed in rock.

All clothing and accessories featured are from the Giorgio Armani SS12 collection.
