The video for Monarchy’s brilliant new single Living Without You has finally arrived. The track first premiered last month to critical acclaim, so it there was no doubt that the video had to stand up in the same light. Andrew and Ra have developed a beautifully monochromatic (holler) visual story of the classic “boy meets girl, breaks up with girl” except totally destructive, GIF-worthy and artistically gripping.

Fashion includes a headpiece made by Adele Mildred and dresses by Viktor & Rolf and Pucci.

The last we heard of Monarchy on a BIG scale was the globally viral and critically acclaimed ‘Disintegration‘ – a collaboration with the legendary Dita Von Teese back in 2013. Fast forward 15 months later which included a signing to Ultra Records, various mixtapes, a side project called Horixon (featured on Kitsune records) and covers (Monarchy’s SoundCloud is a must-follow) here we are with “Living Without You” – the second single from the forthcoming album. I first heard the track last month at a unique private listening party in partnership with Bombay Sapphire at F Cooke Pie Shop on Broadway Market and it is fair to say it is one of the duo’s finest – an heart-wrenching electro dance fusion made perfect for remixing far and wide.
