We previously featured Survive by Rosie Belvie which served as a psychedelic pulse of survival, so when we heard that the star was back with Living My Life, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience!

Establishing the mood with a cerebral energy, expanding with astral bells and funk-pop vibe with luscious and pitched down ad libs, Rosie Belvie opens Living my Life with a vocal melody which reminds us of the iconic song, Just A Little by Liberty X!

The prose is assertive as Rosie sings, “You do you and I will do me, don’t need you fucking with my energy…”. There is no doubt that Rosie is in charge of her reality, and confirms this with the hook of the song! We love the layered vocals, and the intricacy of the sound design.

Rosie Belvie brings funk and freedom to life with Living My Life. In essence It’s a sparkling groove with a clear message: live unapologetically and let the haters hate. The spoken word middle eight is so inspiring – tapping into bit of that Lizzo energy, followed by stunning 90s harmonies and out of this world vocal runs from Rosie showcasing her epic talent!

There’s confidence in every layer, and the production oozes personality. Rosie leans into self-love and liberation, turning personal growth into a dancefloor-ready celebration. With lyrics that shrug off outside judgment and a melody that invites movement, this track is equal parts empowerment and party.

The track is also perfect for a variety of synch deals – an episode of the Sex and the City spin off show, And Just Like That, or a big Hollywood romantic comedy with an empowering female lead! Credit also goes to producer Johnny Bullz (her brother and collaborator) of Bullzeye Beats, who built the groove using mostly live analog instrumentation. It gives the track a real sense of warmth and energy – vintage vibes with fresh, modern flair.
