We previously featured LESS for fusing a high emotional quotient with subtle irony to embrace growth and renewal with his single, Instead of Making Love (Say Hello), so naturally, when we heard that the talented artist was back with Hellya, we were curious to say the least, and couldn’t wait to listen and share our experience.

Hellya opens with an electric guitar soundscape and bold bass notes with layered melodies, once again, tapping into an emotive energy. The opus expands with reflective, situational prose laced with poetic prowess.

We appreciate the journey that LESS takes us on, both sonically and emotionally. There is no doubt that the track holds a cinematic allure, perfect for a TV show like the upcoming reboot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

LESS confesses, “This track represents the definitive style through which I want my music to be heard. The lyrics emerged after a period of apathy, when I felt as if I were sinking into a deep hole; a series of heavy emotions were suffocating me.”

She continues, “All these feelings poured out in a burst that I summed up with the exclamation “Hellya!”, a word that may or may not exist, but which perfectly captures the anger and the urge to break free from this cage of fear and oppression.”

LESS is a singer-songwriter from Naples. She grew up in a moving, close-knit family. LESS discovered guitar and singing early, using music as a refuge. Her songs blend personal lyrics with rock energy. During the pandemic, she developed her home studio and honed her sound. Today, she is known for bold, authentic, and emotionally charged music.
