The video for Judas by Lady Gaga was directed by the hugely talented Laurieann Gibson.

Following various requests via Twitter for clarity on my opinion with regards to this video, I feel that I need to set the record straight. I LOVE THE VIDEO FOR JUDAS AND LAURIEANN GIBSON IS A GENIUS. As with anything Gaga puts out these days there are mixed opinions, however the video for Judas is timeless – everything from the cinematography, to the fashion and plot line are flawless. Gaga looks absolutely beautiful and the outfits -Mugler, Alex Noble, Schott, Perry Meek and in particular Christian LaCroix – are beyond incredible. The water scene is by far the most stunning segment from the clip and truly ties back to Gaga’s genuine claims as an artistic visionary.

As confirmed by Gaga herself in GAGAVISION #42 – she graphic designed the single cover for Judas herself and photographed the image with her cellphone for texture. Here it is. The track is set to hit iTunes today, previews leaks thus far, sound epic.
