]]> As a huge fan of Patrick Wolf‘s “darker” side – i.e. The Bachelor, I didn’t immediately love the more jovial, romantical sound of Lupercalia. It lacked the dramatic and fantastical edge that made its predecessor so hauntingly dramatic, however that does not detract from Wolf as one of the most creative British pop artists of our time. Here are five video portraits that have surfaced over the last six weeks to celebrate the album launch, by John Lindquist.

The audio-visual portraits were composed and produced by Wolf and “provide a moving insight into the heart, soul and character of Lupercalia”. They are all available as bonus material on the deluxe edition of Lupercalia.
