The opus, released on the full moon, expands with astral synth arpeggios and cerebral ad-libs as JESUS THE APOLLO shares spoken word prose with notions of assertion and planetary escapism. An orchestral hip-hop energy encompasses us with trap hi-hats for the hook. We appreciate the artist’s British accent, and a piano interlude with a more delicate sentiment.

There is no doubt that the track has a cinematic allure, perfect for the sequel of Sinners, or perhaps a film by Jordan Peele, though he cites Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho as inspiration. JESUS THE APOLLO references Mars, and leaving us floating in our jacuzzi as he invites us to kiss his ass whilst he wins a MTV VMA. We also learn that STeVe, IrV, The Villain and The Moon Man, mentioned within his artistry are his alter egos.

The song comes with an epic music video that poignantly brings to life the vision for his artistry. The song wraps up with piano, screamed moments that remind us of Kanye West’s Yeezus album, police sirens, and a nod to Pluto!

Speaking conceptually on the release, and his invitation to break free from a sunken place, JESUS THE APOLLO says, “This song delves into the Matrix and humanity overcoming it by not taking in or siphoning the programming from the system that has robbed countless people of peace in a single lifetime. This has meant that many have returned to Earth in karmic orbits caused by the Matrix, never achieving peace in one lifetime. We are in the Age of Universal Justice and Revelations. The age of the rise of the Harmonic Orbit is here, and in order to reach a Universal Harmonic Orbit, we must ignore the lullabies of the mockingbird from the Matrix – lullabies that have robbed us of our power and made many believe that life is about chasing time, constant stress, and fighting to survive. This is not what being human is about.”
