Published February 12, 2013There are few opportunities when fashion’s biggest guns are photographed together. This editorial ‘Puffy Takes Paris’ for US Vogue came out in 2000 i.e. pre-blog/blogosphere, so is a rare find. I figured posting it was apt because (a) the Anna Wintour ‘Boss Woman’ documentary from 2000 produced by the BBC has been getting some digital buzz lately (you can and must watch it in full under the cut), (b) Diddy is in Godney’s new remix video for Scream & Shout as he features on the track, which is out on Friday, and finally (c) because we’re all really excited for the return of Galliano, right? Right.
So here is the editorial featuring Puff Daddy (now Diddy), Kate Moss, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta, Alek Wek and John Galliano photographed by Annie Leibovitz under the fashion direction of Grace Coddington.

Jean Paul Gaultier AW13-14: A Leather, Lace, Jumpsuit Striptease
Published January 18, 2013Earlier today I was in Paris for Jean Paul Gaultier’s AW13-14 menswear show. As always, fashion’s “L’Enfant Terrible” delivered somewhat of a groundbreaking showcase for the collection. However, don’t let the theatrics behind it distract you – almost every piece was perfection. From the intricate use of lace, to statement leather arm length gloves, jumpsuits, kilts, reverse kilts, silhouettes, it was everything and more. Theatrically speaking, Gaultier HQ was transformed into a red/purple light district with models including Andrej Pejic and Tarik Lakehal performing a strip tease of the multi-layered collection – highlights below. Published January 5, 2013Every outlet that posts the Jean Paul Gaultier SS13 campaign images is going to “live and breath for” Ginta Lapina as Madonna, Hannelore Knuts as Bowie, Jeneil Williams as Grace Jones & Maria Kashleva as Boy George – and they have EVERY right to. The perfect cast was shot by Sebastian Kim and is completely in line with the SS13 show in Paris last season where Gaultier not only stole the show, delivered on publicity but beneath the theatrics was one of the icon’s finest ready-to-wear collections to date.
