Obviously, I am completely obsessed with the video for slowthai and Skepta’s Inglorious. The clip is directed by Crowns & Owls opens with our protagonist being baptised in a very symbolic way, underwater shots and transitions are wild. We move on to slowthai being bound on an inspection table and in an almost Clockwork Orange vibe, eyes peeled wide open and then after some glitches including iconic Theresa May moments, we see slowthai with Skepta on a badass mini tank… I mean, major with back up dancers in red hood – the symbolism is beautiful and the production value is fit AF, nice work Andy Picton. The final scene sees the duo looking at what appears to be Tyler The Creator’s blonde wig (also an iconic political statement) having just muted the subject. Work.
