AGENDA — Punk Affirmations. An analysis of London City and its smoke and mirrors. London Punk Sh*t. 

REAL ROTTWEILER — A reclamation of independence. Killing the shadow self. Trance like mantra to really let the rage be your release which is healing. Unblock your throat chakra type of flow. Debut track for the HASZNAT sound, which formed the E.P overall.

OBSIDIAN — Rebirth. Rising above the ashes and any life situations ultimately turn into dust. Wipe it off your skin and feel the sonics overtake your body. Interlude of the E.P.

PHREEKDOM — Sex positivity. Denouncing stigma of bodies. Queer bodies. South Asian bodies. Everything I was told to hate, I never really let that sink in and had to unlearn. This track is a chant. Power of the tongue is very real and this is track entails a mantra to bring that confidence through pleasure, however that may be.

HASZNAT is an emerging independent London-based artist, who has just released their hard-hitting debut single and video, REAL ROTTWEILER. Described as “a reclamation of HASZNAT‘s sense of self”, the track is about being “in the now” and is built on an industrial soundscape with the artist’s riot-esque vocal signature.

HASZNAT has been performing in London at venues including Colour Factory London for REDLINE and for club night PXSSY PALACE. The video for REAL ROTTWEILER features a cast of dancers and models, sometimes in cages, almost always in a trance, moving in synch to the artist’s pulsating production.

Speaking on what is coming up, HASZNAT says, “My next single is a Drum and Bass / Hyperpop track, called ADRENALINE which is releasing in June, just in time for Summer.”

Elaborating on their sense of self, the artist confesses, “I am non-conforming, not just in identity but as an essence in all I am as a human and artist. I started out in fashion styling and creative direction and as of last year, I started making music, knowing that I AM MY OWN REPRESENTATION. South Asian artists need to be more prominent in the creative industry and I am here to MAKE NOISE.”
