Do you remember when VMAN did that rather contentious and over sexualised sex spread on Shrek? Or when Harper’s dressed Marge Simpson in Chanel to celebrate The Simpsons movie? Well this time, the eponymous magazine has dressed The Smurfs in Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs to celebrate the launch of the movie. I’m starting to really like the semi-anime shoot ideas and wish more brands had the budget capabilities to deliver on these types of advertorials.
